Other
The escape hatch for a space no term here reaches: a real room, identified as one, that this dictionary does not list. Never the right home for a space that deserves a term of its own.

- Note
- ADR 0001 section 6 gives SPACE, ELEMENT and TYPOLOGY an `other` and denies it to STYLE, PERIOD, MOOD, PALETTE and PLACE. The reason is that this is a closed-world axis: rooms are enumerable, so "identified but unlisted" is a real state worth recording. On a fuzzy open-world axis `other` is a garbage magnet that costs a classifier nothing and silently becomes the largest class. Note the distinction from the dropped `unknown`: `other` is ontological and positive, `unknown` is epistemic and maps to null.
Crosswalks
No external scheme has been searched for this term yet. That is the absence of a record rather than a result: where a scheme has been searched and found to carry nothing, the search, its date and its query are published here as evidence. See governance.
