- `Mid-Century Modern` is a STYLE and appears in `seenAs` only because sources routinely write it when they mean the date. The two come apart in both directions: a 1958 local authority housing block is mid-century and not Mid-Century Modern, and a 2023 walnut sideboard is Mid-Century Modern and not mid-century.
