A board or panel product supplied to form the external, weather-facing face of a building's walls, independent of its material and of the structure behind it; not a tile, a render or a glazed curtain wall.
Also called siding, facade cladding, façade cladding, exterior cladding, rainscreen cladding, facade panel.
