A phthalate-free diester plasticiser of terephthalic acid and 2-ethylhexanol, used as a general-purpose alternative to phthalate plasticisers in flexible polyvinyl chloride.
Also called DOTP, Dioctyl terephthalate, Bis(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate.
