Which time of year is it meant for?

Season is the time of year a scheme is designed for or evokes, reached by evokes like Place and Period are. It is not Period, which is a date range a season never has; not Palette, which carries the colors a seasonal scheme happens to choose; and not Daylight, which records the light a room receives rather than the calendar a scheme refers to.
