Daylight is the natural light a space receives and the direction it comes from. Aspect is compass-literal and says nothing about the sun: which side is bright depends on the hemisphere, and that consequence is a separate claim on Light. It is not Palette, which is the color of what is in the room rather than the light falling on it; not Mood, where airy and moody are outcomes a scheme achieves rather than conditions a room has; not Element, which holds the windows, rooflights and luminaires themselves, and artificial lighting is never recorded here; and not Place, which says where a building stands rather than which way a room looks.
